G'Day

1400 GTR - 2010 model

The Australian 2010 model has -

Heated grips.

KTRC - traction control. In my opinion, like ABS, a must have if you ride in all conditions, on high performance motorcycles (switchable).

K-ACT ABS - linked and power assisted, distribution brake system, with two settings.

Side panniers  - TOP Box accessory item.

Tyre Pressure sensor - digital read out (selectable) with preset (low pressure) warning (with replaceable batteries).

A larger screen, increased heat protection (I have owned K series BMW's. I know all about engine heat). KI-PASS (key/immobiliser security). Body shape has been changed, mainly in addressing heat management. New economy engine mode.

(USA versions are referred to as "Concours14").

Welcome to the WEB home of Paul's Kawasaki 1400 GTR ("Come by Chance"). This 2010 model, is Bronze in colour.

The GTR gets very little urban work (I scoot to commute) and is set up as a touring motorcycle. Plenty of RAM mounts for GPS, SPOT, Music Players. Integrated coms system. UHF CB radio. Cruise control.

Upgraded headlight bulbs improve the already excellent headlights, for night riding and "animal spotting".

A "be seen" look with use of reflective tape, after market LED system and "tail brights" makes the GTR, a little different when observed.

The 1400-LOG menu option presents you all relevant entries as to accessories, travel, impressions and more.
